The best treasure I picked up on my very second trip to St. Helena were these little, teeny, tiny battery-operated string lights. Tuck them into a tinted glass jar, wind them through some florals, or braid them into your hair. There’s a small battery pack that will tuck neatly away. I bought one box, around $13. But, if you think you can find more online, think again. I could NOT find any “fairy” string lights with as many lights as these. That’s 13 feet, 40 lights worth. If you DO find them, please let me know. Otherwise, I have to go back to St. Helena. Bummer.
The Dove Lady hopes this isn’t the closest she’ll ever get to satisfying #12 on her bucket list. The one that features real fireflies. She might tuck them into a glass jar for a quick minute of ooohing and ahhhing, but would never try to braid them into her hair.
